Tim Barrett – REALTOR ®
Tim Barrett was born in Enderby BC, but has been a resident of Abbotsford since 1971, he was raised in South Poplar on an acreage and has always appreciated the rural landscapes and stunning scenery that Abbotsford has to offer. Tim is a dedicated father to 2 wonderful children, ages 18 and 17 and thoroughly enjoys all the time he gets to spend with them. He has owned several residential and industrial properties in Abbotsford, starting his real estate investing at the age of 19. His professional background includes; 11 years running a successful, local family business and over 30+ years as an accomplished, professional saxophone player. He studied on a full scholarship at Arizona State University and with some of the world’s finest players in New York. Tim worked for years as a musician in the Caribbean and Taiwan and remains active playing at venues around the Lower Mainland and has performed in the 1998 and 2019 Vancouver International Jazz Festival.
Tim loves to give back to his community and had served for 20 years as a member of the local Kiwanis charity for kids, past president 2007-2010. Tim volunteered in the position of Director of Special Events for the Abbotsford 2016 BC Summer Games from January 2015 until August 2016, organizing events with a team of 5 chair persons and 150 volunteers, charged with entertainment and dances for thousands of visiting athletes and volunteers.
Tim enjoyed 8 years licensed through REMAX and has been with VYBE Realty Ltd since 2019 and has over 12 years of experience assisting clients with selling and buying homes and investment properties in Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack, Langley, Surrey, Vancouver/GVRD and the Okanagan. He’s passionate about customer service and is looking forward to further assisting new and past clients, their families, friends and referrals with their ongoing residential, commercial, and industrial real estate needs.
