Tim Barrett was born in Enderby BC, but has been a resident of Abbotsford since 1971, he was raised in South Poplar on an acreage and has always appreciated the rural landscapes and stunning scenery that Abbotsford has to offer. Tim is a dedicated father to 2 wonderful children, ages 15 and 13 and thoroughly enjoys all the time he gets to spend with them. He has owned several residential and industrial properties in Abbotsford, starting his real estate investing at the age of 19. His professional background includes; 11 years running a successful, local family business and over 30+ years as an accomplished, professional saxophone player, having studied on a full scholarship at Arizona State University and with some of the world’s finest players in New York.

Tim loves to give back to his community and plays for charity events with a 10 piece classic R&B band comprised realtors from Kelowna to Victoria, that donate all of their performances to the Children’s Miracle Network, BC Children’s Hospital and other local charities. As well, he donates a portion of each of his sales to the CMN and BC Children’s Hospital and is a 17 year member of the local Kiwanis charity for kids, past president 2007-2010. Tim recently held the position of Director of Special Events for the Abbotsford 2016 BC Summer Games, organizing events with a team of 5 chair persons, 150 volunteers charged with entertainment and dances for thousands of visiting athletes and volunteers.

Tim has over 9 years of experience assisting clients with selling and buying homes and investment properties in Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack, Langley, Surrey and GVRD. He’s passionate about customer service and is looking forward to further assisting new and past clients, their families, friends and referrals with their ongoing residential, commercial, and industrial real estate needs.
